Oct 3, 2017 · Now it won't start. Friend said it did not make any crazy noises or leak any fluids. Riding in a very dusty/sandy environment. Plug was pretty fouled up. I replaced it - no go. Checked oil and was about quart low - IE nothing on the dipstick. I checked it last season and it was fine. She still cranks fine.

I got a 2007 king quad 700 replaced the starter silonoid and battery and it ran good for about 5 days and all of a sudden I went to ride and it won’t turn over. The starter silonoid just makes a clicking noise. And lights won’t turn on at all. 2.5k. Posted April 11, 2011. Could be an air leak in the intake, could be an ignition problem, could be some crap stuck in your carb, could be that the valves need adjusting. I would probably start by checking the valve lash and checking for any air leaks. Then I might move to the carb if you are still having problems.1st there is 2 circuits inside the ECU that control the fuel pump relay. 1 is during the boot up (turn on for 2 seconds to build up initial fuel pressure and ECU gets to see if the pump is electricaly working) 2nd circuit is when the part the controls the fuel pump relay to "stay on" while the motor is running.Checked the resis of CKP (crank position sensor) its also in range but could not get 5 v on my digital volt meter when cranking, I will try on analog volt meter and see any volt output. Many riders has posted code 24 means bad ECU any suggestion. I checked the resistance at the CKP which is 192 but no voltage even with an analog meter, which ...

It looks like it might have been coming from a hose attached to the rear of the frame at seat level. I let it cool down and rode home no problems.

This seems electrical. Check the voltage at the battery with the atv at idle. Might be having a undercharging scenario. Like overcharging scenarios, undercharging scenarios can also mess with your electrical system. At idle you should be producing around 13.5 volts at idle and 14.0 - 14.4 volts when revving the engine.

The fuel system should also have a fuse and or a relay. Check the fuse and the relay first before pulling the fuel line.
