If a piece of trash gets in the valve and sticks it open or even partly open oil press will drop. If the engine has many miles on it I'd put in a new regulating valve and spring. Oil temp is a 211 and coolant temp is at 209. Technician: Nich M. That's within range. I'm pulling the information from the manual for reference. Typically the oil temperature will run 10 to 30 degrees higher than the coolant temperature under a load. 209 coolant temperature is ok while driving.
