I shot the new Hoyt VTM 31, Hoyt RX7, and the Bowtech Carbon One before trying the Phase4 29. I now have the Phase4 29 in subalpine and quite enjoy it. It is quiet, fast for my draw length and after a 4 hour session at Austin Archery Club I can say it was pleasant without any stress on my arms or shoulders. I’m not a guy who buys a new bow every year (sorry Mathews)! I tend to wait until I feel like the technology has advanced to a point that it makes sense to upgrade. That was this year, with the Phase 4-33. I switched from another brand to my first Mathews. I went all in with the entire bridgelock set-up.
