The only way I found to escape that one is to CTRL-ALT-DEL out of the game and kill the process. Unfortunately, the puzzle sequence doesn't continue after that, so every Gek facility you raid will offer that puzzle. At least, that's been my experience so far. Lots of bugs for HG to fix in this update. 1.
