A few tips I can give for both corrupted and reg is make t2 helm and legs and t1 body thats 5 of each item. Use a bow and a staff i find im much more consistant. And I did this pre augry. Make 3 potions. 1 for running about 2 to go in with. And minimum 18 food.

Corrupted Gauntlet learned me a lot about PVM, it has a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it you'll breeze through (if you pay attention). First CG completion was equally satisfying as my first Firecape. Both on totally different skill levels but both marking a new found way to play the game.
