However, a couple days ago it started having troubles. It's only been driven about 8 hours so far, now when I press the throttle it occasionally doesn't respond. The light being on shows that there is a problem with the EPS. First thing is to check and clean all the electrical connections on the EPS unit. After some time these connections get corroded and dirty.Ranger will not start without help from fluid or gas. I’m not throwing any codes. Once I help it start it will run fine. Have to help it start everytime. No loss of power or bogging. I think it maybe something with the CPS sensor. Ohm reading is OL across the 3 pins. I unplug the sensor it will not run. Part of the issue with heat in the 900 is Polaris put the exhaust ports on the forward-side of the head. The super-hot header runs near the passenger seat and then does a 180 back to the rear to the muffler.Turns out the hole problem was the lower hinge that bolts to the cab frame is very soft metal and was bending. Pulled doors off and lower hinge flattened it back out and all my problems went away. Doors open and close with in finger now. ... The book also says you can leave it in AWD all the time and it will do nothing unless the rear wheels loose traction.
