Purple has huge durability issues, and tempur has switched to a cheaper foam apparently. The good news with Tempur is that their warranty is pretty much the best out there, but their support foam is a lower density than you'd want for good longevity. The new cheaper foam process is also not a great development. The fact that purple replaced the first mattress is pretty awesome ( the fine print even excludes softening of materials if you read through it) but from what I’ve heard they regularly replace their mattresses for softening if it fails a jug/weight test.
