The only powders I've found for consistent 3/4 oz loads in the 1200 to 1275 fps range are WW AA Lite and Alliant Extra Lite. Tightwad is real good for 1oz and ok for 7/8 oz. It's my view that you can interchange load data with the Federal Gold Medal, and the Cheddites with these hulls. IMR Blue powder, 2 1/2 shell, 16 gauge. I develped my load by downloading all the 12 and 16 gauge data using IMR Blue into a spreadsheet. Then determined the powder to shot ratio to determine low and high powder chsrge. Loaded a few starting at the low end, and found good performance right in the middle ratio.4.7-5.0gr of N320, is a clean soft accurate load. Try some 180gr BayouBullets and drop the load down to 4.3-4.5gr. N310 might be ok but will be hard to find since it isn't popular. If you run out of N320 WST works good as a backup powder.
