I just started to use these this month. I had 2 days of the hollow circle. 6 days of the flashing circle and then the following day the static smiley face. I will admit that any more days of flashing smileys and I could have lost the plot. But reading back on the instructions leaflet, 5-8 days is normal in 25% of the cases for flashing smileys.

Solid smiley is a indication ovulation is starting rather than happened. So I'd treat solid smiley as the last day before ovulation and two days after that would be 1DPO. Think that's right. Might also explain why CB solid smiley stays for 48hours to cover this period.

I was gutted thinking I’d missed ovulation but I had EWCM which is a usual sign. I tested that evening and got my static smiley!
