Benelli is a much higher quality that franchi. But franchi is a solid budget semi auto. Benelli will stand behind there product until your grand children own than gun. Thats the major difference between higher end brands and middle of the road brand. Higher quality control and better service if things break.

I prefer the stock on my m2 better though. It has a much better recoil pad on it and I also like how the trigger is easier to reach. The Franchi just has a little more distance between the grip and the trigger. One other difference is the forearm is slimmer on the m2, but I have zero issues with the forearm on the affinity.
