Re: walbro carb diaphragm vent hole. The hole is there for atmospheric equalization and relieving the pressure on the back side of the diaphragm. I have 2 DLE 65's and they both run very well with a burble-free mid-range using stock mufflers and spin a Falcon 24X9 between 7250-7400 rpm depending on temperature.
