Metal Glitter in Oil. Hey all! New to the forum with a question. I recently picked up a 05 vtx1800f 10k miles. Love the bike! Did the first oil change once i got home. Noticed the oil was a tad low (maybe 3.4 quarts came out). The previous owner put maybe a couple hundred miles after he did the oil change.
Stick with 10w-40, NON-Energy Conserving. Regular or Synthetic is entirely up to you. Regular oil, change interval is 8k per the manual. I would personally recommend 4k on regular oil. ... Just changed the oil on it and need new tires. What's the max size I can put on this thing w/o any mods? It has the cast iron rims and I currently have Metz on it (don't remember the size - not looking at the bike presently, but I think they're stock size). Can I increase the size w/o any mods?
