Just look between the rear of the engine and that frame for the glass shield on the left and move the clutch pedal with your hand a little and you will see the linkage that you need to adjust.If so it could just be an adjustment. You will need a good tractor mechanic or service manual to properly adjust the clutch though. the adjustment could either be in the pedal height/freeplay or in the clutch itself. It’s totally Indepentent which is what I believe they actually call it. Engage the lever then when ready to start the pto just engage the switch. It doesn’t slam on per say.
