I just want a way to leave the van while it's running, and lock the doors via the lock button. I know of 2 workarounds, both annoying. Workaround 1, shut off the van pull out the remote, remote start the van. Workaround 2, pull out remote, remove key from FOB, manually lock the door.

Mine has the foot sensor so I can open and close the back-facing door (whatever you call that door) by kicking under the rear bumper. So maybe my foot positioning triggers it (my assumption so far).
