If you had a real oil temp gauge it would read a temp that the oil can withstand. The problem is the turbo and manifold can be so heat soaked that if you shut it down immidiately it will coke the oil in the turbo. Which means it will burn it. And oil burning off inside the turbo is what messes up the bearings.
About 2 minutes in, the stop engine light comes on and the engine dies right then. Will not start. I do not know the condition of the fuel filters, though likely need changed. I do have plenty fuel in the tank and though not real fresh I'm sure, it does not appear to be too awful old.
