Jul 15, 2014 · The code I was getting when my jeep was doing the exact same thing was. P06dd. Apparently this is common enough on the new 3.6 they set guidelines to follow when you get the code. Step 1 reset the code and send you on your way. Step 2 change oil filter and pressure sensor and send you on your way. Step 3 oil pump. Off hand my first guess would be to make sure the Jeep has been properly re-calibrated for the gears and larger tires. If could be that in 2H or 4H it is close enough to not trigger limp mode, but in 4L it does. Things like gears are clear black and white settings.This will clear any saved learned memory from the vehicle and reset it to factory stock parameters.
