If i give it throttle very slowly, it will rev up and run good, but will not run with fast advance of throttle from idle. Been through carb several times and even put different carb on it. Remove the gas tank cover. Then remove the gas tank and you can easily get to the starter. Two bolts and one wire and the starter is ready to pull out and replace with a new one. If that's the case, WD40 will sometimes loosen them. Set up for couple years.Wouldn't start. Cleaned carburetor and it started. Problem is it won't idle. I can turn the idle screw all the way and it is still not high enough rpm to keep running. Must be something I missed, but I can't see it. Maybe someone can help me out.It would act as if not getting fuel like a vapor lock. AFter a while it would start back up. I had been told once by a ute racer that the check valve/tank breather that comes out of the tank and is in line on the right side rear would do that.
