From what i have read the EC9s and LC9s are very similar. Legally you can definitely swap the slides no issues, if it will work, it probably would. Honestly unless you have already found one i highly doubt you will be able to buy an LC9s slide on its own from anywhere but Ruger directly. Then Push the slide forward while dry firing it a number of times. This should work. Also do the same procedure with a mag in. Keep trying this and it should release. This is a common issue. lc9s guide rod I bought the new lc9s when it came out. mine came with the new guide rod. I did however buy galloways ss guide rod and spring set and installed it. Did the same with my original lc9 and it worked great. Not happy with the new set up for the lc9s. Spring is to weak, I can rest my finger on top of the slide and move it back and forth.
