After a bit of initial confusion regarding skills I decided to consult a FAQ, which promptly stated that the only good Lilith build is a non-elemental one. Lilith is all around good, and places more emphasis on the elemental system than the other characters. That said, you also have phasewalk and SMGs if you want to go in a different direction.
