Technical. If you're having issues with POL launching with a black screen on Steam Deck, try this, it worked for me. Open the POL settings and stop it from starting in windowed mode. That's it. That's all it took to fix this for me. I don't use windower, and I'm running on the current steam deck firmware as of Mar 26th 2023.
