I bought a 2020 Rubicon DCT and at about 500 miles started having shifting problems (5 long and 2 short dashes). Over 7 months the dealer first replaced ECM, then the neutral sensor, then the whole transmission.Dropped off my Rubicon at dealers today. The same problem as described above, after an hour of riding the DCT transmission will not shift. A dash will be displayed on the gear indicator on the instrument panel. Shutting it off will usually enable me to shift back into neutral and start over again. I have had it with Honda.

I see the DCT as a non hydraulic automatic, the Rincons have torque converter, the Rubicon Honamatics are hydraulic pumps in reverse. DCT is actually not a new idea, first invented in the 1940's, developed in the 80's for racing, the first to hit the road were 2003 Volkswagens.
