I've got a Kubota MX5400 that I use with a Woods RD-990X to mow about 4-5 acres of turf airstrip. The MX5400 was bought for the sole purpose of mowing, so it does not have a front end loader and the associated hydraulics. (On the dealer lot, it did have a dealer-installed loader, but this and the joystick were removed prior to the sale.)

These loaders will pickup a lot of weight, you’ve got to have ballast to do it safely. The differentiation between MX and M is a lot more clear. The MX series is really a hybrid compact utility tractor. It's for somebody who has utility type chores to do but may not want a full-on utility tractor to do them with. These are offered at 48, 52 and 58 horsepower. The 48 being naturally aspirated and the 52 and 58 being turbocharged.
