There are a few spots he moves to for his quest line. Blood Nagakiba is better because both will get reduced damage, but the reach of the Nagakiba will make it ridiculously good with Spinning Slash. If you really wanna get meta disgusting shameless scumbag (like I am), pick Keen Nagakiba + Bloodflame Blade + Flame Grant Me Strenght. Also 2H Nagakiba > PS Nagakiba.its a simple choice imo, youd only let him live while you do his short quest that is ultimately for the purpose of getting the flame of frenzy ending, so if you arent doing that ending this particular playthrough as well as wanting the ronin armor, simply end him (note that youll get the armor either way, from killing him or doing the frenzy ending)

Those two weapons are very samiliar but the second one is longer. Is Nagakiba slower than Uchigatana or have lower damage because many people play ROB and Uchigatana instead of ROB and Nagakiba. Nagakiba has "wasted" stats on STR.
