I was solo-ing through a dungeon when I received the above message. I don't mess with anything in the game like avoiding the steam launch and I don't use mods of any kind. When I received the message I closed the game and steam to restart it. Steam at first wouldn't boot, but when it did I verified the game files. Some files were out of sorts so those got fixed.
