Yes I double checked to make sure that's where the sound is coming from. I'd worry about weld distortion and keeping the belt contact surface as designed, but given the price I'd consider giving it a shot. I wondering if the one off an early serial number 855D would work.

I never had any issue with the replacement part so I put the fixed original primary into storage just in case. Fast forward and some jerk stole my XUV550 and its trailer.
