Anyhow, my question is: the car did not come with the FOB remotes for the keyless entry/ remote start. I have already checked the VIN with the Chevrolet dealership and they verified that it should have remote start and keyless entry. The XM radio works, bluetooth works and the OnStar works. The dealship said that the FOBs would be about $120 ...
My 2011 Malibu LTZ with the 3.6 has had this rattle since about 110k and has gotten worse now with 154k. For about the past year (makes it really worse on cold morningns below 40) it would run for about 10 seconds then the idle would drop so low it would stall. Sway bar links and bushing are wear items, use a pry bar to see if / what has play in it. Shocks or their mounts would be my next check item along with loose exhaust or heat shields.
