As for the door zippers, they are dust proof, but need WD40 silicone spray or similar to worker more smoothly. If you zip them close before you stake out the floor the won't stretch the fabric and will work better. Edit: Shiftpod replaced the poles promptly and after opening once there have been no issues. I have set up shiftpods before without any issue. I just received a new Shiftpod 3. 4 of the polls broke next to the hub when I applied a normal amount of pressure during setup. For the roof ones I applied barely any pressure, barely enough to lift the top.

Shiftpod was designed for summer use at burning man. Having used it, it's great. There are vents all around if you don't have portable AC. The whole thing is shiny and reflects heat. It's also great in the winter with a Mr Buddy, as it is somewhat insulated. Based on the fishing shelters shown it also appears to be much much bigger.The internal frame can be used for hanging lightweight stuff, definitely. You can just weave your lights around it, and hang a big overhead light from the top. You don't want to hang anything really heavy, because it collapses to the inside and locks by pushing out.
