I've used pellets for years and I'm a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" kinda guy. Hornady 300grain XTP's in .452 absolutely knock deer down! No blood trailing required. The 240 grain work well but not like the 300's. This what all of my little circles shoot and they are all CVA's. Accura's, Optima's and a Wolf. Some are really good shooters and others I have had a hard time keeping on paper at 50 yards.
