Just as Dan said the D3VE's are closed chamber heads. The D2's are open chamber and yes those are prone to detonation (the D2's only). D3's are really close-port wise-to the D0VE's but obviously the D3's have bolt-down rockers and bigger chambers. The E7's have TINY ports and-well-the only intake that fits them is the EFI intake (fuelie's).
