CJ7 Frame and underside of the tub painting questions. So I finally have my tub, engine, and frame stripped down to where all I have to do now is sand, and paint it and patch a few rust spots. But my main question is, what product do you guys reccoment? I have seen a few good mentions of por-15 but thats about it.

proper wiring of alternator. I have 79 cj7 304. Re-wired my alternator to be a one wire but can seem to charge below 2000rpm. This is what I have done. Connected red wire to red wire going to starter solenoid on battery positive side. The alternator is a brand new and so is the wiring harness going into the back/side of the alternator.

You have to enlarge the wiper arm post holes and use YJ wiper arm/blades and the YJ wiper arm linkage. The CJ motor is still used.Your dash-mounted headlight switch will have to go, if you want to use the column-mounted switch. 5. Ditto for the floor-mounted high/low beam switch; you will be much happier with the stalk-mounted high beam switch. 6.
