The fore end rattles, but about the same as any other pump gun , that's just how they are. Of mine, the BPS probably rattles the least, Mossberg 500 the most, 870 & Benelli in the middle.

Posted July 30, 2010. The only advantage of the Super Nova is the interchangable butt stock. But, I don't believe Benelli makes one that is 1" shorter, which is the only one worth changing to. I also am not a fan of pistol grip shotguns. For me, the pistol grip slows down transitions.

Little better quality control, fit and finish. It’s no wingmaster, but they’re better than the Express from a few years ago. It is also finished the best of the other two. Rounded edges, thicker barrel, fit and feel is the best as well. If I could only pick one, id keep the mossberg 835. Said it many times; I own both a Mossberg 500 and a 870 and the 870 is a much better gun. Few things have been mentioned, like the position of the safety on the 500 is kind of bad. Where I really notice the difference though is the feel of the gun.
