One of the biggest differences is the motor. The woodway has a minimum of 5HP motor but the tread only has a 2HP motor.

The "app compatibility" function is a little misleading, at least when it comes to Peloton. You can connect the tread via bluetooth directly to Zwift and maybe some other apps; however, you can't connect it with Peloton.
