More people are getting more devices more quickly. I'm not saying it won't happen or that it won't be profitable, but the incentive is going to drop as the prices fall and the scarcity decreases. Risking your job to make a quick $1500 is one thing, but now that the devices are going for $800-900 it's much less enticing.My steam deck was initially estimated to arrive 7/7/22 (tomorrow), but it got updated to arrive 7/6/22 (today). It didn't arrive today, and now is updated to 7/8/22 (Friday). I think I figured out why. They went in the wrong direction haha. These steam decks can be sold for double their MSRP right now. Valve should have been smarter and shipped it in a package with no identifying markers. Wow, that's disheartening. Today the Steam Deck box was delivered completely empty and it wasn't even a clean cut on the tape. Then you can contact Steam Support about it with the information from FEDEX. Usually you should then get a replacement unit and FEDEX will reimburse Valve. Of course since the Steam Deck has a long waiting list and each produced unit is preordered it may take a while till they can send you a replacement.
