For a sight that is less than .91” wide, having a viewing window that was .63” wide called for thin walls which combined, measured less than 1/3 of an inch. To be clear, the Sentinel has the RMSc footprint (that's the sub compact footprint, much smaller than the RMR/Trijicon footprint). OP's specs for the Sentinel indicated ARMS mounting, an obvious typo. The M&P 5.7 (as well as the other M&P 2.0 series with optic cuts) also has the RMSc optic cut.
